Tamara Messina is the owner/operator of Living the Dream Retirement Estate. As an entrepreneur and local businesswoman, Tamara has thirty+ years of experience in the hospitality industry. This includes such businesses as Boar’s Head Provisions (distributor/owner), spa and salon owner, licensed esthetician, former owner/operator of The Inn On The Avenue (a local bed & breakfast), developer of S’mores Ice Cream/Coffee Shop, music career management, as well as raising two children. Tami is also a licensed travel advisor. Group cruises are always fun!

“I enjoy people. I enjoy cooking. And after being out in the corporate world for years, I just really wanted to stay home and Living the Dream gives me the opportunity to do that,” Messina said. “Even though my kids are grown now, I can take care of other people, make them meals and make them comfortable.”

Tamara is also responsible for bringing many locals, snowbirds and friends together for weekly socials, which take place at different establishments/businesses in New Smyrna Beach to help support the local economy. NSB Social Club has over 300 members to date and is constantly growing. It is a great way for new comers to meet people and socialize.
